About This Document
This document describes the DiskWarrior 1.1 Update. After applying the update, your DiskWarrior 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3 or 1.0.4 will be version 1.1.
What's New
1) Previous versions of DiskWarrior can make most repairs to files that are larger than 2 GB. This version uses new features in Mac OS 9 so that it can also repair overlapped files that are over 2 GB.
2) Previous versions of DiskWarrior can repair disks with folders containing more than 32,000 items but it was unable to verify the repairs. This version uses new features in Mac OS 9 so that it can repair and verify these folders.
3) The DiskWarrior AppleScripts have been slightly modified to operate better on non-English systems.
Updating
Run the DiskWarrior 1.1 Update. When prompted, choose the DiskWarrior application to be updated. You cannot update a DiskWarrior application that resides on a CD because you cannot modify a CD. After the update is complete, you're ready to enjoy the benefits of your updated DiskWarrior.
